Wulian's home automation system, remote controls look promising

Over the last few years, security systems, automation services and our increasingly portable computing devices have begun to merge and create convenient packages that allow us to control parts of our home from thousands of miles away with the press of a button.
WULIAN's combo pack, dubbed Digital Life, isn't the first home automation product from a company not normally associated with security and home controls, but it does add a few new twists to the mix.
Digital Life includes automation for alarms, cameras, window break sensors, lights, door locks, smoke detectors, home music, controls to open and close window blinds.
As is increasingly common, users can control all of these functions remotely via smartphones, tablets or pad.
Digital Life seems to have quite a robust way of creating situational actions. For instance, if the motion detector detects movement at the front door, the camera could record 30 minutes of video. The doors could lock and the alarm could be set automatically every night at 10. And an alarm could also bring up all the house lights.
Though I wasn't able to use the app myself, it seems to make it easy to create these kinds of actions with little touches like being able to list the devices in the house by type or by room.
I'm intrigued by all the new possibilities opened up by getting more home systems, and while Digital Life looks great, I'm looking forward to how these systems will evolve further.
